Picture yourself the day before a great night! It could be your prom, a great party, a formal dance, anything, in this case, snowball. What do you need? A dress, and of course every girl wants the perfect one; high heels, earrings, necklace, make up... oh so many things... but also, girls, we need a date. I'm living right now in a place where girls start asking guys to be their dates 3 months before the great night! 3 MONTHS before! it's like asking someone to marry you when you're just a kid! no kidding! and what I've heard about this, is that they ask people they don't even talk to, so this is like a kind of competition that starts early, and the reason why... all the "good" boys are going to be asked first, and trust me, "you don't want to go with a random ugly guy". What if that "random guy" will be the perfect date, a guy who will make you laugh, will dance with you all the night and will be a perfect gentleman, and with this I'm not saying that the "good looking guys" aren't going to be the same, but lets face it, sometimes they can be super cocky!
I'm living a total different case in this situation. I'm a foreigner in this school this year, the "new girl", the girl that comes to a new place to start over. When you're new, nobody knows you, you can be who ever you want to be but of course, you need to meet people, unless you want to be the girl that is always sitting at lunch in the table where all the foreigners sit and the girl who never made friends just her foreigner friends. But this is not the point, the point is you're new, you don't know everyone, and the people you barely know in the first month of those 3 months asks you: "Who are you gonna ask for snowball?" oh believe I don't know and I'm working on it.
Finally you got a date, the guy you might like and that maybe likes you too. So, how are you feeling? So pumped! this is amazing! "He said yes!!!" this is kinda funny actually! And nothing could be more perfect two weeks before when he acts like he really likes you, he tells you all those things guys know! "I like Wednesdays (because I can see you)" ... and the a day before the great night all you can think about is "OMG how is this going to be tomorrow?" "Why the h*** in the world did I asked him?" Don't worry if you're, feeling like this, I'm pretty sure you're not the only one... why? Because that's exactly how I feel right now... and why? just because guys are way more complicated than us! girls! Anyway enjoy your night and be a super star! The most freaking beautiful girl in the dance room!
